About Sunday of Hope
St. Jude Sunday of Hope is a program that allows congregations across the country to unite in support of St. Jude. Since 2008, over 600 churches have participated and helped raise more than $2.1 million. Through St. Jude Sunday of Hope, our congregation can show support to help treat and end childhood diseases like cancer and sickle cell. By joining and supporting this initiative, we are uniting as a community of believers to give the gift of life and hope to children around the world.
About St. Jude
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because they believe all they should worry about is helping their child live.
St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. They won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
All donations made through St. John Baptist Church are given to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For any donations made online, you will be emailed a receipt. For cash/check donations, receipts will be available upon request. All donations are tax-deductible. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
